Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
In order to simplify your safety protocols and your purchases, we recommend the TRIVOREX® neutralizing absorbent, a versatile solution for all types of chemical spills, even very hazardous.
Or you can do the spill diagnosis!
It is possible that the spilled chemical is too concentrated for the neutralization reaction to be initiated. It is then sufficient to wet the absorbent with LeVert (or water if not) to accelerate and complete the neutralization process.
Only certain corrosive products neutralized by TRIVOREX® can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste (NHW). See list of declassifiable products.
LeVert chemical decontaminant is used on personal protective equipment (PPE) but must not be used on the skin or mucous membranes. In the event of chemical lesions, suitable solutions exist. We recommend the Diphoterine® solution.
The waste formed by TRIVOREX® that can be disposed of as non-hazardous waste are chemicals which are only corrosive and have been fully neutralized (yellow colour of the mixture). The list of declassifiable products can be consulted on our website.
Waste declassified by TRIVOREX® versatile neutralizing absorbent is disposed of under the waste code 15 02 03.
Other absorbed chemicals may be disposed of under the waste code 15 02 02.
